4. Bottled water from convenience stores -- $365 per year.

Surprisingly, brap-juice wasn't on there.

I quit 1,2,3 and 7 all at the same time a few years ago on Christmas eve. I think it paid off my vacation home.

Time Warner cable in Los Angeles had the Fox Business channel. I saw Dave's first episode. I have to say it was good. I have listened to a few of his archives shows here and there but I like the cable show more. It is only one episode afterall, but I guess I am a visual person?

WoW I wish I done a few of those things so I could see the extra money. But I have never done any of those. Well lunch that is all but I cut it down to 1/2 the time and then number 11 that will be a hard one to break....

I don't do 1, 5, 6 and 10, so I must be in a pretty good shape.

Paid off my truck today! Only debt I have left is a college loan which is at a 1% fixed rate so I just dont care about it. Setting up my mortgage to have automatic payments for a 15yr loan and I think I can start investing a bit. (already paying into 401K)

It's nice to know I don't owe anyone for my truck.

I have been paying the max allowed for matching into my 401K and have been investing half of the money I made from when I was 15-18yrs old. Have few other investments on the side I'm 27now and think I should be on target with what I want for retirement.

The thumbrule I hear is 25 times your salary, so if you make $50k now, you need $1.25mil at retirement. Take out 4% of that per year and you have $50k.

What did you invest it in? How long did it take to achieve that return?

Congratulations, now its time for an EME 1000. Just joking, it feels great to start working for yourself rather than the bank.
