How fast were you going when you were turning .I ride with a trailer like that all the time .

I was turning about 5 mph, I think we hit the curb in the middle of the road that caused my trailer to flip. Use caution, I going to mod my trailer to put my ski in the center when I haul one ski.

ahhh...make it easier on yourself & just get another ski for the other side

no pix's yet, but the shafts are toast on my B1

While I was riding Wahoos B1 the drive shaft let loose and luckily Beachjunky offered to tow me in. On the way in the rope got caught around his leg and did this:

Always double-check your tow rope. Of course this had to happen about first thing Saturday morning :banghead:.

I can't thank you enough for the tow-in Beachjunky. :hail: :hail: :hail:

He didn't tell you about how the B1 landed on his back as we got barreled by a wave on our way back in. I swear I thought it broke his back. I was $hitting my pants. I definitely owe ya one bro.

it was on the verge of breaking. you fix busted shi so it doesn't break in big surf and risk injury. you and reed both knew about those shafts.

Come on Tim aren't you the one who preaches about just doing quick fixes with duct tape so you can ride more and wrench less.

Reed and I had no idea that it was going to let loose then. It had been fine for a whole year so how did we know that it was going to let loose in Daytona.

I do feel REALLY REALLY bad that it did go when it did and Beachjunky hurt himself helping me get the ski back to the beach. Once again I can't thank him enough for helping me out.

While we're at it I might as well post pics of my shin after my rideplate got a hold of it.

I hate shin injuries the most. They always seem to hurt the worst.

No, I'm the one that thinks looks aren't very importaint (putting duct tape on hood vents is ok not on hull cracks). I also think buttoning up known problems before surf trips is a good idea. lets use a close call as a wake up call.
