I still say you are crippling Total loss performance by running resistor plugs with it. On Seadoos you cannot run non resistor plugs, it sends out RF signals that will make the units cut off like you pulled the lanyard, erratic idle, changes in ignition timing and flat spots in the powerband, it is one of the first things I check when there is a running problem on a ski, what else can you change for $4.00 that effects the way the engine runs at every RPM ?

Why do you think resistor plugs cripple a tl system?
What do resistors do Matt, what is their function , that in itself should answer your question.

maybe its not compatible with a brainless system?
Even though you are being a smarta$$ here you are correct, the brainless systems will not jump a .050 gap with resistor spark plugs installed, an MSD will but it has way more spark energy.

hmm, msd says in bold font you have to run resister plugs with their TL. prolly for the same reason you have to run them on a seadoo. grab a plug one time from a msd TL setup. i've never seen my hands twitch for so long! the shifty relay doesn't cut spark with kill button pressed. just so anyone else doesn't make that mistake.

That may well be correct on the new digital TL MSD system, that would make sense, on the older analog systems it wouldn't make any sense and on the old brainless TL systems it just flat out doesn't work properly with resistor plugs.
