Dirtyoz's Halfa$$ed FX-1 Build

Yep, time to plus this baby up a bit.
By "half-a$$ed", I mean that It's like June, and I dont have time to paint and crap like that this season. Its time to ride, So I just gotta get the F*** with it.

I picked up 2 FX-1's this winter, so since they are both relativley stock, I had better mod at least one of them a little. The one I chose to mod was an obvious choice because the engine showed up with the jugs full of fresh water.
Living in Alaska, we are forced to buy our skis sight unseen.
But this one came with a brand new FP limited pipe for 1k so I was not that dissapointed.

Here is the way it came....pretty generic.

I think its time to at least start the depurplelization procedure.

Definately in need of sum turf. Never done it before as I have only been riding skis for a couple years. Here it goes.

Took a little to figure out the best stuff to remove the old glue.

I wish I still had the pics of me riding the half frozen river just outside of Palmer, the train was going by and gave me the strangest looks.

That glue is mighty fumey. I tried a heat gun to speed up the glue dry process. It worked really good, I just hope it holds up.
