Disappointed with Factory Pipe

Thought I would vent on the forum rather than scream at the lady on the other end of the phone at Factory pipe. Just disgusted with them again. I'm installing a B pipe for a customer that had to be purchased from RIVA because Factory Pipe is backordered......again!!. Setting up the water screws and discovered a damaged one on top. Package arrived undamaged so I assume it was shipped out this way. You would figure Factory Pipe would be happy to send out a replacement, but they won't. They would be glad to sell me one though :) I know its a cheap part and I could just buy one (which I obviously have to at this point), but its frustrating when dealing with a company that won't just take care of the problem. Its ridiculous the way that Factory runs their business. Its bad enough that they don't offer any sort of dealer pricing, but on top of that they pull crap like this. Just another day in the world of jet ski's. I hardly ever run into issues like this in the ATV, motorcycle and snowmobile side of my business. Rant over :)

Guy I sold a motor to recently purchased brand new Factory wet pipe. I told him to remove the head pipe screws when he got it to make sure the holes were drilled all the way. Well 2 out of 3 ain't bad I guess lol. He finished their work and is on the water, but what if he had not checked?

I ordered a couple pipes over the years from them and both times the lady taking the order made me feel like they were doing me a favor by letting me order one of their pipes. And her installation tips led me to believe she had never even seen a Superjet pipe before. Oh well, the owner lets her get away with the attitude so what do you do?

Seems to me this would be a awesome way for power factor to step up. Be like hey guys sic k of dealing with factory pipe?
well we now offer our setup for 800 bucks or some deal like that where we could make the b pipe a thing of the past. I would sell my b pipe in a second if there was an option with more power for an extra hundred bucks or so. Cant quite swing the 1500 or so that a pf brings.

ummmm ;)

After talking to her I sent my Money to the guys in New York that made the NYNJA c4 chambers. They don't make the chambers anymore but they do make the manifold and head pipe already cast a 52 mm so no boring nessasary. And for a bunch of Yankees they were a pleasure to deal with.Haha
