the new 4 stroke model is only 69 pounds heavier than the 2 stroke version and makes a whopping 100 HP versus the 2 stroke SuperJet's 73 HP.

I'm listening...

The 701 is 85lbs (?), and TR1 160lbs means +75lbs just in motor. Either they shaved weight from the SMC (heavy) hull or from the TR1...

So it'll weigh the same as my son's SN before I defoamed it!!! (actually 2 lbs lighter than that waterlogged beast)

I can understand why the nose is engineered the way it is. The TR1 is a tall engine and needs more hood height then the 701. To make the frontend more streamlined they would of had to lengthen the hull which none of us want. They put in max effort to make it as short as possible, sacrificing some cosmetics. How it handles on the water is all that matters.

I’m as hyped as everyone else, but I hope it looks better than that when it releases o_O
Looks like they tried to make it go with the new chevy truck. They may as well stick a gold Bentley grille on the front of that pig. The rest of it is gawdy enough.
