disposing of old premix

I've got about 15 gallons of old (4 years or so) super-unleaded that was premixed at 40:1

ya'll think I could run it through my truck? - say a gallon or 2 per fill up (23-25 gallons depending on how far I stretch it)

or should I just find a way to dispose of it otherwise?

I finally took some to the city dump (special days for gas and chemicals) because I didn't want to risk it. But my 10 gallons had water in it.

Better stretch it out for a long time. A few friends ruined their fuel pumps running premix in their trucks.

how old of a truck. You really shouldn't I have heard the premixed isn't good for the cat.

I did the same as MaDmat I took it to the recycling center

My old beach truck drinks 2 stroke just as readily as anything else.
Wouldn't do it with anything even borderline "nice" though.

2003 Dodge - I just found out that Houston has a new drop off for "environmental hazards" that is open 5 days a week - the old one was open 1 day a month. guess I'll make the trip down there.

Exactly! Come on you guys! You can't recycle fuel when you could have been burning it! That's just wrong in so many ways.

I've got some old 550's sitting around we can use for testing...LOL

makes a good weed killer just put it in a sprayer and spray away.thats what I did last week with some of mine that had water in it.

Fuel stabilizer is not a magic potion. It can't reverse time.

15 gallons is a whole lot of lawn mowing, and I have a very small yard. LOL
