gotta love it. NEW full size gas trucks average 15-16. cummins has had their stuff together for decades. Ill never buy another gas truck. My next one will be a 3rd gen common rail 6 speed. But ill wait a few years and let the prices come down, cuz mileage on a cummins doesn't make a

common rails do make some mad power with a chip! think i have a boost leak on mine, only get 11mpg and can only hit 29psi of boost, and i have bigger sticks, boost fooler/ chip, FASS, so i know im getting enough fuel? anyone else have any ideas?

I actually have my AFC tuned pretty good. Burns pretty clean for a dinosaur. Just gotta spend tons of time adjusting preboost and the starwheel, along with changing springs with different spring rates on the AFC arm to change the fueling curve. Right now I'm running 7X.012 sac nozzles, but probably gonna step up to 5X.018. Right now I'm gettin about 13 mpg

Yep smokes a ton, always blowin black ha. And it's a quadzilla set on power level 3, gets don't get over 1200

I miss my 2nd gen 24v 6spd, it had big sticks,s300, tst powermax 3/smarty stack, etc etc. Was a really damn fun truck but every few months something major would break and I would upgrade it and everything around it.

Check turbo, routing. Intercooler and pull the turbo. Check end play in the shafts. Check airfilter to make sure it's not clogged

Air filter is clear, turbo isn't even a year old. Made a plug to pressurize the intake piping. Held up to 30ish psi but my compressor dies by have a regulator so was kinda unaccurate. My turbo housing was leaking a bit where the band holds on compressor side to the core of the turbo

Turbos go bad like engines, could be a day old. Could be 20 years old. CHECK IT!!

Its tuned to make as much power and to be as clean as it can. Here's some bad passes at the strip, but you get the idea on how the smoke cleans up. Love me some cummins... had a 96 12v.. bought it with 355,000 sold it with 418,000.
Torque for days! The rust just got too far gone... 2nd gen dodges rust like no other.
