DOMINATOR 2 Cycle Oil?

Use pennzoil 100% synthetic oil from walmart. 23 bucks a gallon, its certifed twc3 besides just rated, and is a high quality oil in general.

http://pennzoil.com/products/marine/index.html#FullSynthetic

You have to be concerned with certain oils based on if they are low ash or ashless. If you have a powervalved motor or a general high rpm 2 stroke(chainsaw, weedwacker), then you need a low ash oil/api-tc(mobil 2t racing, amsoil interceptor, dominator, citgo sea and snow). The ash is needed in these products because they run hotter and need as much protection as possible.

if its a regular 2 stroke with no powervalves and is water cooled, an ashless oil/twc3 oil is what you need(pennzoil syn, pennzoil blend, quicksilver, kawichem, yamalube, tech 2000(relabled pennzoil blend i believe))

If you have an issue of fouling plugs, you may want to check your using the correct one for your application.

Twc3= right for superjet, regular 2 stroke pwcs
api-tc=powervalved, aircooled motors

i used nothing but dominator till i tried klotz. 80% synthetic 20% castor oil. i went back to dominator after a tank of klotz and noticed less throttle response, since then i have used nothing but klotz. 45 dollars a gallon but worth it.

Don't listen to gonorrhea2582, go with the Dominator.

Yeah I guess not:

"Some manufacturers are using a combination of detergent types (Ashless and Low Ash) to provide a broader range of uses for their oil. It is important to note that oil designed to meet TCW3 specs. only (Ashless) will not protect an engine requiring API-TC (Low Ash) type oil. The converse is also true. Using a Low Ash oil in an engine designed for an Ashless type oil only could result in fouled plugs and gummy combustion chambers. "

I have heard many accounts of how good the Amsoil is. Then my motor builder (Jetworks) told me a few stories about people who don't know how to mix oil and was running race sitdowns on 128:1 ratio and the motor shown no signs of wear. SO I run the Dominator in my new motor. I love the smell and if it protects a bit better that is good enough for me.

You can buy it for 25 to 28 a gallon delivered off of ebay. Which is a really good price considering the local race shop ordered me some and charged me $40 a gallon for it.

use the dominator. pennzoil seems to smoke a lot more. and your motor will still be very clean inside after using the dominator.

x2 - I used dominator and when my rod bent I tore it down to find a spotless top end. brown from combustion, but no fithy carbon deposits on the pistons or head - good stuff

I forgot!
me too i have two seasons on my top end and there is no piston wash, i am going to lean it out but now i am considering not to after all you guys are saying you have no carbon build up. my pistons are so clean and shiney they look brand new. amsoil interceptor is a bit cheaper too.

I've used a lot of different oils in my last motor including whatever I could get my hands on at the convenience store right before riding and my motor was spotless when torn down for a rebuild .

I use Maxima full synthetic now .

Unless your running a high performance motor $$$$$ oil is a waste of money .

I used Interceptor and HP Injector for a long time with good results. The only downside of the Interceptor is that I cant tell once it is mixed because it is not colored. Therefore I use strictly HP Injector now. Amsoil is good stuff.

Unless your running a high performance motor $$$$$ oil is a waste of money .

Some builders actually prefer inexpensive TC-W3 dino oil over overpriced synthetic stuff.

These motors are bullet proof so why waste money on some expensive oil ?
If your jetting is right the motor will remain clean no matter what you pour into it.
