Check out
pricepoint.com
cambriabike outfitters
jensonusa
(Believe it or not, if I am not mistaken Watcon use to be a MTB shop, I think I remember seeing that years ago when it was Watercraft Connection, I am talking early 90's when I was into MTB way more than jetski's..... looking like I may be heading back that direction now, just need something new........)

check out MTBR.com, they have good links, reviews etc,,,,,,,,,huge message board, you could combine the X, PWCTODAY, Green Hulk and jetskinews and you still would not come close to touching the volume of that board!!!!!!!!

I have been walking by myself (at night) lately..but that is coming to a screeching halt

Last night I had a neighbor walk with me....and we cut around a section that doesn't have any houses...or lights(that I walk by myself a lot).....and we got about halfway and had a bear growl at us from probably 15-20 ft away. It sounded big and it sounded mad:scared: we kind of looked at each other...and I took off...I never knew I could run like that! I had been walking that stretch a lot lately...but I just turned up my iPod so that I couldn't hear anything...not anymore.:eek5:

I guess now I will be walking on the main streets only....I'll just have to do several laps.

I just got in to my grandma's house and what was the first thing she asked me? Do you want something to eat?!?!? NOOOO!!! It's 10:00 at night!

I just have to stay away from the house as much as possible...and only spend time with them afte I eat something healthy somewhere else!

it's a slow process. It's been since the 17th of Nov. and still can't bend over or do anything physical. I can't even sit up straight, cause the pain rushes to my hip joint like crazy... The left side of my pelvis is still numb completely on the front side, but upper side going around to the back of my pelvis by the hip bone burns... The glute muscles are sore and I have pain in two spots on my spine too...

I really think all the pain is pinched nerve radiating from my spine to my hip and numbing it and so on....

This is the most annoying injury to have... A cut or a broken bone you know what is wrong... I'm going on 3 weeks and I still have no idea what is wrong w/ me...

Try hanging from a chin bar a few times a day or even bet an inversion table to decompress the spine. All the impact you do during riding is the big factor here. I would strongly recommend you go see a massage therapist and let them do their magic, or a chiropractor certified in a special massage called active release therapy(A.R.T.).

And for anyone that doesn't have back pain like this, I encourage you to hang from a chin bar daily(or an inversion table) or at least a few times per week. After you hang or invert, stretch all your leg muscles especially the hip flexors, hamstrings, and calves. Keep moving is the best preventative and rehab for back pain, just limit your flexion and extension of the spine and lift with your damn legs and not your back.
