My buddy has been rocking the Ion Fuse Series Dry Suit for about a month and swears by it.
I just ordered one last week and should have it by tomorrow.

Guys, take it from a cold water riding nut! An xcel drylock is a hard to beat suit. I have tried a few different true dry suits and a few semi drys. This is considered a semi dry because you wear it with shorts like a regular wetsuit. It is infinately more comfortable than any bag dry suit and most of the time my shorts will still be totally dry when Im done riding. Ive been out on lake michigan with ice chunks floating by me and it literally feels lime you are sitting in a hot tub. I have the 4/3 hoodless so I dont have to wear my hood on nicer days, but can add the boots and hood for the really cold days. It is just as comfortable as wearing my regular jet tribe race suit. They are a little expensive but worth every penny when it comes to staying warm and still being flexible enough to shred the winter surf on lake Michy.
