Super Jet Dual 44s or dual 38s for 770 motor?

I have a 62t bottom, 61x top with a 5mm protec stroker crank and 82mm pistons with a SJ Mod b-pipe. Right now it has dual oem 44mm mikunis on it.

Right now it has no bottom end hit, I just kind of sputters below half throttle then takes off and runs great up top.

Im trying to get more bottom end out of it, What can I do to get more bottom end out of the 44s? Right now the carbs have 110 p and 110 m jets in them.

Would I get more bottom end hit running oem dual 38s? I have a set laying around

44's should hit. Tune it.

Not implying you don't know, but just in case, tune means more than main, pilot and screws. You need right needle/seat/pop off, right pitch prop, right timing, right screw settings on your pipe. If it is a jetmaniac motor, just ask him, he'll tell you what to do.

Otherwise, I'm sure someone will post some specs.

If you don't have a mikuni pop-off tester, you should buy one. $50+/- from JM

I do suck at tuning! Its an old race ski, it was already put together when I got it, I know it was tuning for racing and it is tuning great to racings, Im just trying to turn it into a freestyle motor. I know the porting is probably not ideal but I will keep playing with it, I just read somewhere that sometimes dual 44s do not have enough pull though them on smaller motors and bottom end will suffer.

Reed and case stuffers along with an epoxied ramped intake manifold step up the air velocity especially for the small motors and make the 44's perform better...imo.

Aftermarket 44's will work well with that motor. Are they OEM 44's or A/M Mikuni 44's?
Make sure whatever you are using has fresh rebuild kits and throttle plates.

Your presently running untuned 44's and it has poor low end performance , you have a set of untuned 38's laying around . The 38's are not going to dial themselves in all of a sudden any more than the 44's will . Just work on what you have in the ski already . When you get them dialed in correctly they will scream from bottom to top , follow these instructions and the 44's will make you happy , it solved my tuning problem which was lack of tuning knowledge .... http://www.x-h2o.com/threads/58480-Carb-Tuning-101-Info-From-WATCON&highlight=tuning

Ok I will work on tuning them, I guess they are aftermarket 44s, They are grey and have the easy turn adjusters. Took it again today, screams up top just have to get that bottom end tuned!
