" NJ policy is that if it's saltwater damage you can't buy it back and it can't be re-sold....it's off to the crusher"

Let me quote this for you. He lives there. We don't. I would take his word over yours.

Did you not see the 2 links I posted of NJ salvage flood vehicles with salt water damage? I can find more. Look, I really dont care, I just see it everyday. The insurance companies try to sound like heros by saying they are crushing them so they dont end up in the wrong hands. There is no way they could afford to crush them all. Some maybe, like a mid 90s taurus or something, but not 20 to 50K dollar vehicles. They bring alot at the sales. The dude can do what he wants, im sure hes got bigger fish to fry, im just telling him to not just take the adjusters word for it.

So.....you're saying that in NJ, saltwater damaged vehicles can't be resold? I need to go over this a few more times to make sure everyone understands.

What? I posted links to vehicles that are forsale at an upcoming auction, they are at an insurance auction, not the crusher.

What about the crushers that have saltwater damage? Do they get sent to another crusher or can you buy them back and keep on crushin?

lol, I am known for de-railing a thread from time to time, but that wasn't my purpose. I was just trying to show the guy with the flooded vehicle that what he has been told is infact untrue. My dad and I go round and round with these insurance companies. I once had an Allstate agent call me after selling a vehicle with a rebuilt title to one of their policy holders. They said I can't sell vehicles with rebuilt titles to their customers b/c they wont insure a vehicle with a rebuilt title. I said thats funny, b/c I actually bought that vehicle from Allstate at an insurance auction and if they feel it is uninsurable and unsafe why was it granted a rebuildable salvage title, they had no answer. I answered it for them. Its all about the $$$$, if it had a junk title, or a certificate of destruction it would have brought alot less at the sale. That customer then went with progressive and got full coverage insurance with no problem, just like I have on my vehicles. The insurance companies and adjusters are scum. Thats what I was getting at, i was just trying to tell this guy to watch out and not let them screw him.

Oh I got it. lol. It's funny cause I have never seen one of those isuzu trucks in person and I saw one at a traffic light the day after he posted his truck was heading to the crusher.

Did the tow vehicle say going to the crusher on it? lol. Hey, maybe his did infact go to the crusher. IDK, dont really care, but I dont know what other proof I need to show you people that regardless of what any NJ law or douchebag adjuster says, there are saltwater floods being sold in NJ everyday with NJ salvage titles, which means they ARE rebuildable and can be put back on the road.
