I know, you all told me, but I would'nt believe it. I appologize for continuing this issue with another thread.
I've been thru the carbs,(they're good), My exhaust is wasted,(another on the way), But it comes down to electrical.
Symptoms: Runs as good as ever for as long as I can ride without shutting it off.
If I wipe and it dies, or if I kill it after a while, it won't start again. It's not a cooling issue: it happened on the hose and the head lasered at 118 degrees.
No spark after it gets warm. (in the driveway on the hose)!!!!!!
I realize that this could be a number of things. Just looking for a fellow rider that might cut my diagnostic time short.
I've had coils do this in outboard motors.
Could this be a problem with the stator?
As simple as plug wires?
I want to ride A.S.A.P. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!!
Thanx in advance,
Dan
