EME SJ Dry Pipe Pics

Also with this set up you dont have to worry about busted lord mounts or the pipe shaking itself apart. Pipes mounted to the motor tend to bust bracket welds and or mounts over time.

True, but with a dry pipe, you are getting two pipes in one, and when the inside one breaks, and it will break eventually, especially in freestyle, you are SOL.

Actually freestyle engines set up for freestyle don't have a lot of EGT's like a closed course racer engine would have, so I would tend to think this may not be as a big of an issue of the chambers cracking like they did on our GP1200r with triple dry pipes...
We have about 6 months on this new pipe (ride every weekend).
I have always panicked and pressure checked it (about 10 times) and have never had a leak.:arms:

factory pipes surely has dyno number on their type 9, how much more power is it than the bpipe? Plus you have a world class pipe tuner setting it up specifically for a freestyle boat (knowing very well malone wanted bottem end power) , how can you people think your bpipe is superior in the power dept, ? Bpipes are very reliable, but not the most power by far. i have no doubt that it performs as well as mark baxter says it does.

unfortunatly the small gas tank and no waterbox kill it for me (i played that game and lost).

Because people just for some reason will not believe someone who actually knows what they are doing. It is there instinct to disbelieve.

I wonder if you can use one of those adapter plates and then run this pipe on an SXR?

Oh who am I kidding, we all know that X2 of mine will never get that 800 SXR engine installed in it... Right Scorn?

What are good temps to be shooting for if one were to use EGT guages to help dial stuff in?

I have the new dry pipe coming, running on a 800CC motor.

20 seems pretty steep to me.....Plus, the type 9 is a high rev pipe and makes its HP high in the band. Thats great to me as I run an Octane (type 9) on my MOD blaster and it runs 7800 + RPM. And I run 225 compression to get the bottom end out of the pipe because its a "high rev" short pipe. Thats where the power lies. Don't you freestylers want more torque and bottom end? And I'm gussing you guys dont rev your skis like I do either??? From looking at the pipe, it looks much longer than an Octane pipe which is around 36" from couper to stinger. I could be wrong though. Anyone have the pipe handy to take a measurement of it? This pic kinda answers the question as to how much HP it is over the B Pipe to me.
