I've know Brendon (eme direct) for a few years and met Eric. They are both straight shooters. I've seen a few Q8's and the quality looked good to me. Well, except the turf.
Something about this lakeboy kids story just doesn't sound right. Isn't this the same kid that came on here and blasted Steve from WF for not shipping
his trim out. Only believe some of what you read on the interweb.

EDIT- it wasn't Steve from WF.
I just searched lakeboy posts and it was Brian from Trust here slammed for not getting a trim 2nd day air.

He's had the ski for two months an hasn't ridden it. How's that his fault? Numerous threads by him trying to figure out his total loss, due to the lack of help from eme. How again should that be his problem if he purchased a turn key boat, no intake grate either? Gimme a break

How on earth is this my fault? i sent Eric what most people would consider alot of money and i get a cracked hull, and a fried ignition. what part of that is my fault. the ski has sat on the same trailer as it did the day i picked it up from shipping. I have done all the work to figure whats wrong without even any effort from eric to help. i was charger 1200$ for a new TL that is broken. and your telling me its my fault.

Is this what you would expect if you just got this ski??/

I'm not saying anything is your fault lakeboy. I'm just saying your story doesn't sound right.
Why haven't you called every day? Why didn't you call your credit card company as soon as you saw cracks and disput charges?

This is exactly why the first thread was moved into negative feedback. On one side you have the bashers, on the other you have the fanboy(s), and it turns into a flame war when the only real person who can answer the questions is not even a poster here, Eric Malone, owner of EME.

EME Direct, Brendan, doesn't have any say in how issues are resolved, that's been proven, he's just an online presence like zeski was/is for Wamilton's.

You talk about them "EME" being straight shooters, question you should be asking is why EME sent a flawed boat to a paying customer. Call everyday? C'mon man. Fault seems to be with EME's actions not the customer. Yeah I know this is one side of the story but it isnt that complicated, lets see. Cracks, no intake grate, faulty ignition. Pretty simple to see who is at fault​

What if the boat shipped out with no crack and ran perfect before it shipped? Then what?
