Hi Chris, What is the benefit to update the Flash#11, i bought mine in april 2011.
should i upgrade? so far i have no problem with my EPIC.

FYI, Chris has been very helpful so far im helping me to diagnose my issue with my backfire issue that is currently happening with my MSD enhancer. We will find a solution, and I will post the details. it is getting narrowed down to timimg. I will be posting a video of my backfire with the bad battery and stock known good CDI in a bit. It will be on my build thread.

I'm having a spark issue now as well. Ski was running perfect. Flatlanded a backy, then went to ride out of it and ski cut off. Started a couple times ran for a couple seconds then nothing. Get home and zero spark fml

Boyer, its extremely unlikely that the rectifier/regulator would cause a problem as the Epic works with the AC voltage directly from the stator apart from the 12v DC that powers the circuitry. The only way I can see this happening is if the rectifier malfunctioned and put AC into the battery but you would know about this as the battery would not be very happy.
Hey Wax....Did you know that Epic has been accused of being responsible for the hole in the ozone layer down under?

I didnt know that chris. I know they foul plugs but really how much ozone depletion can one jetski really do. Unless its of course from the shipping of the epic backwards and forwards.
