well mine clears the motor and the bedplate, but it is tight against the reinforcement... i have a piece of rubber under the waterbox to lift the pipe a bit though to clear without denting.

i am running the mod pipe and using the stock short hose cut to fit.

i think i might need to pull on the pipe enough to shove some turf between the pipe and the side of the hull so it doesnt vibrate and wear right through my reinforcement.




oh and thanks for the help along the way, i have been following this thread and it has helped me with a couple things

Hood and nosepiece was $455 shipped. I took advantage of WDK's $400 xmas special... it seems like he runs the special once every year so maybe he will run it again next year. I used that xmetal lowered bracket that came with the xmetal pole kit.

build looks good man. I need to get off my butt and start to build mine. I got my holds in, but I need more power! First on my list is prop and grate. I like the hood though, need to put that on the list.

This build is really nice!! I wish I was closer to ya then i would pay ya to do my turfing, yours looks great I can only hope to have it turn out half as well as yours did!! engine area looks trick too good job.

What do you mean about the flywheel coating? You mean after it has been running for a bit? I put mine on like 2 months ago, and put the cover back on and havent looked at it since...

I went with the smaller tank because I wanted: internal fuel fill, less cluttered engine compartment, ability to use half the fuel without it sloshing around...

Mighty fine job Eric. I really like the fire extinguisher idea. I might do that.

I just cut a piece of turf and used 2 zipties to hold it on the extinguisher... that way I can still pull it out if the cops wanna see it.
