What do you mean about the flywheel coating? You mean after it has been running for a bit? I put mine on like 2 months ago, and put the cover back on and havent looked at it since...

I went with the smaller tank because I wanted: internal fuel fill, less cluttered engine compartment, ability to use half the fuel without it sloshing around...

How much fuel does that tank hold?

I mean the coating on the gear. ITs like a gold color.. mines flaking off. its brand new.

also where did you get those disconects, and hose at? I need to find out what all I need to do the routing for the cooling lines. I like those quick disconects you got!

oh... maybe that coating is just a rust preventive thing... We require parts that are carbon steel that are machined for our company to have a cosmoline type coating applied to any surface that is not painted... perhaps it is something like this...

The tank holds 8.5 liters...

The disconnects I got from Art at Jetworks along with my flow control valve... they are pretty slick

The hose I got at Lowes... I got like 15ft which was about 2-3' more than I ended up using...

You can buy that silicone hose at lowes? sweet.

it is just water hose... If I had to do it over again I might get the silicone hose... this stuff is kinda stiff... JEGS sells colored silicone hose online... but the lowes stuff does work... just might not last quite as long.... but it looks good... and is 1/2 the cost... its a toss up for which is better I guess....

you need 2 disconnects if you wanna route it the exact same way I have it...

I know what you mean. I wish I would of sanded the inside of my engine compartment before putting everything back together.

I like using my hands... I have tried gloves... just couldnt get used to them.... after this last round... I might try it again... my hands look like 50% hand 50% cut lol
