Hold your horses folks .... I've gotten more calls and Pms than a Jerry Louis telethon .... Let me pull one and make SURE it fits .... dare I say " like it ort to " Before we make commitments .

Things you should know.
The ride plate steps on the hull are inconsistent on the Chan. a beefy plate is impossible to make as the inset varies from 2 to 5 mm. Also , it's a male mold meaning the print shows on the outside . There is one option to fix that. That is sand and hot coat it like a surf board. Due to the hull insets I feel carbon is the only material that should be used. The sides can only be a max of about 2mm and the bottom 3ish up to what ever under the pump.

Our engineers are working around the clock to find the best solution .... They came close last night but, ran out of Bourbon. Well... back it the drawing board as ALL the information they gleaned last night was lost. It should be noted the guy in charge of the bourbon stock was severely reprimanded and lost his Christmas bonus.

Sporty, I was just thinking why don't we pump out a few SUP boards. I'll b a silent partner...more of a manager. Let me know when ur ready for some direction.

I know it's late... I hope you all did not wait up. But as promised we have layed up what we believe ground breaking technology for the Backie Chan.

It's been an exhausting 6 months. I went from builder to builder asking , " How can we make a ride plate that fits the chan "? One by one they threw their hands in the air and simply said " IT CANT BE DONE ". " You sir are chasing unicorns ". After my second attempt I thought they may be right. I was down to my last qt of resin and few yards of cloth . I realized that only help from the great beyond would help solve this mystical problem.

I saw palm reader sister Teresa only once . The session was amazing .... except for the penis line being off about 6 inches .... I digress . With her help and the assistance of an old Navajo wind talker the answer became clear..... Behold the first ever Backie Chan ride plate that MIGHT ever fit.

The formula below is the secret.... I don't know how we could have missed it ..... It's so simple

I like how the pill bottle and pills are levitating. Some sort of gravity vortex at tweeter skunk works. That must be the secret.

Eureka!!! U hit the "makers mark!" It was elementary dear Watson.

Here at CSD we usually start the skull sessions with adderall and red bull and finish the night with Xanax and maker's. Pretty much let's us solve all problems.

Flat slides here we come.

All lay ups are done in an anti gravity vacuum chamber . We were actually inverted pulling 9 G's when the picture was taken.... My lab tech ice man said , it's the gutsiest lay up he'd ever seen. Nice eye there Mr. Mc dog

I just zoomed in to see that those are all viagra prescriptions. No wonder they are levitating. Lots of hard work done by the tweeker.

Here's how it turned out... The fit is much better , you don't have to spread it a half of an inch to get it around the sides. The contours match the bottom except for the strakes. Much better than having the 1/4 inch plus mismatch on the original.

I knew there would be a step from the plate to the strake really no way to avoid it . I think it might loosen the hull up a bit since it kind of increases the rocker .... Maybe.

The plate shown is a 2 over 4 . 4 layers of 1208 sandwiched with 1 layer of 19 oz carbon twill. Might drop 1 layer of 1208 in the future. Either way it's a gosh dared stronger than the stock version.... Can you break it ? Why yes... Yes you can... Especially if you put it on a jet ski.

NOW THEN.... This project has been a HUGE pain in the A$$ . The question is , now that I have a lay up down . Should I sand out the plate and make yet another mold so the plate would have a smooth surface.

For my self , there's not a scientific instrument made to date that can measure that small a amount of "give a $hit " but I realize I must give the people what they want.

Sooooo..... Smooth or not..... Choose wisely I might cost you.
