I use the holder out of a SN Superjet mounted in the tray. Doubles as a front foot hold.

yea i need to find a super MINI extinguisher to fit into my ski
when the cops are out on my lake/river i just shove an extinguisher in my life vest between the vest n my chest(not ideal)

Gotta do what you gotta do, I have tried to explain to cops several times why I dont have an extinguisher, they dont care! Do I want it there, Heck no! but do I want to ride, Heck yes!

Only after being stopped last year without one, I wrapped mine in HydroTurf, shoved it between my tank and B-pipe and zip tied it to my tank strap on my FootRocket, so far it's survived many failed flip attempts (and definitely ziptie the pin)

what about using one of the old yellow SN tool kit cylinders to put the extinguisher in, that way it is sealed up just in case and you could mount that to the inside hood liner. I think that may even be how the SN were setup from the factory.
