we have similar situations over here in MI. LK huron has huge ships leaving ports but you need a big tank cuz there pretty far out. Pretty much go out hit the waves a few times, hope you don't something up, and barely make it back. THATS AWESOME OP. way to go big!

its rare but we get them like 10 times a season and you have to know when they are coming and time when to be out lol

a nice pontoon used as a ski barge works. lol i dont have the ski for them waves anymore mostly stay close to shore flatwater setup then i dont have to wait for anyone. I just like rubbing in our fresh water waves to all the salty guys. lol

Now i didnt exactly land the backflip but i plan to by the end of this summer! keeping my fingers crossed haha

i learned to roll on an sxr, off lousy boat wakes at that. i jumped on a round nose and rolled first try off a wake board boat. everything can be done on an sxr, that can be done on any other boat. its just much harder and the waves need to be bigger.i've seen them flip in the surf at pismo all day long.

no, thats a U turn nose stab and thats what eventually turns into a roll. those big old sweeping surf stabs, do not turn into rolls. that pic was around 2007 i think and before i could roll. SXRs do some big old floaty nose stabs with good hang time. they run like for a minute after tho and have to clear out.
