Its similar. Its a engine that comes from snowmobiles and went into Octanes. The motor was built by Carl's Cycle. It makes great power. Were working with X-Scream to have a full on 1000cc pv kawi engine in the near future. That way will have huge power and matching equipment.

Carl's Cycle...Carl's Cycle in Boise, Idaho?

is there going to be a warranty on the hulls?
There will be a warranty. Covering the buyer from poor workmanship and defects. Details will be worked out by a lawyer to be made legal. Can't say to much more until final. I believe this will sell more units. Also give a buyer some piece of mind. I'm also having a simple buyer /seller contract drawn up. It will require a 50% deposit and bind the final required purchase. It will insure a delivery date agreed upon. Either party can suffer penalties if contract is broken. This and other info will be added to web site as things progress.

I personally have had many watercraft parts fail (hulls, motors, handlepoles, electrics, etc), I understand that parts break, but i also feel the manufacturer needs to stand behind their products. Hulls are big money, with a little more risk than some of the other parts. IMO hulls need some kind of warranty especially hulls that are being promoted as a lifetime hulls $9500 is a good deal for a lifetime hull, however without the guarantee that it would get replaced if it failed, value is diminished

Personally, I'm a skeptic about a 66lb indestructible hull. My concern wouldnt be about defects or workmanship but just overall durability for a length of time.

In no way am i bashing the quality or workmanship of this hull. I'm impressed with the product for sure or i wouldnt even be posting here

Let me start by saying, there was never talk of lifetime hulls by me. But I'm sure I know where that came from. I want to offer the best product and stand behind failures due to poor quality. Like I mentioned in my first response the details are still lacking. If you can make it to Daytona and see this thing you will get a better understanding of how strong this ski is. As for the price thats dictated by the materials. Materials add up to 4,000.00, Pure carbon and pure kevlar. With high temp resin and bagging materials plus hardware. Surely not including labor, overhead and taxes. I would like to show pics of the layup but have been advised not to yet. I can say a publication is ready to do a full on step by step build at that point pictures will be included:ugh: Many have said theres no comparison ..........yet. This thing has been with out a doubt punished and no problems. Still need to put up vid I can't handle that job maybe today or tomorrow. As more and more people see and buy there will be more trust in yet a new "best in the world company". This product truly speaks for itself.

I don't ever see one of these hulls breaking with any flatwater use you can throw at it... unless you stab the ground hard enough to break 4 motor mounts maybe.

Even surf, I think it could hold up to huge air! But again, if you stab form 15+ft up, and hit a 4ft deep sand-bar, of course you could possibly damage the hull.... That would be operator error. IMHO Owner would be on there own in that type of situation I imagine.

Like Bobby said, the only way to realy find out if it is what it is said to be, is by checking it out at Daytona.

Just curious, does anyone else offer a warranty on hulls?

I saw in a recent post that wcf is 100% warrantying an almost 2 yr old surf hood

and that hood was WRECKED!

Jeff also warrantied a nosepiece that mounting bracket broke off last year at Daytona..should be getting it any day now :)

Do you think he would Warranty High Rollers boat? :lmao: Had to ask

It would be just to hard to offer a lifetime warranty that covered anything.... there is always people out there that can figure out away to break anything.

Do you know when that hull was purchased??? Try WF 2004......... That is 3 years............ Realistically, 6 months to a 1 year is all that should be expected.......... and that should only cover issues like delamination......... There is no way for a builder to be responsible for neglegent riding.........

I agree completely, that is why I brought it up. :usa2: When I saw that boat in person, I couldnt hardly believe it was rideable! If you can't Duck it, faulk it. :headbang:
