First superjet.. Rebuilt and ready to party

The final pieces arrived.. This should be it for the winter unless I get a wild hair and buy a B pipe or decide to do the graphics
Damn @tomski really killed it. This pivot cover is a work of art.

For another 20 bucks with the sale going on you could get the ovp steering for max control
I know dude.. I am honestly still a little hesitant on the OVP set up. I need to learn how to ride better IMO but what do I know. Also it didn’t help that my wife bought my cart with out asking but buying presents for me is difficult so I love her angle. Thank you for your insight and keep giving it please.

Tomski is the man! I can totally relate to wanting to just learn to ride the ski, you will develop your own style and decide what works best for you. I used to run a long pole and stock steering forever. I think OVP is cool but I personally went with a "shorty" steering because I do like a little bit of swing to the bars... and remember,

Pretty stoked with how the @tomski pivot cover looks on the ski. I think with the black turfed rails and tray area it will look sharp as heck..

I think I am going to give a vinyl carbon fiber wrap a try on the fire extinguisher box… We will see how slick it looks or how it doesn’t , lol

The ski build kit hit a slight derailment.. Definitely back at it and should be ready for water soon!

I am pretty damn stoked how she turned out. The Tomski nose piece looks sick. The ‘21 + superjet pole and the macboost carbon poles with the Blowsion steering set up is awesome.
I set the stock CDI with adjustable rev limiter to 8500… I will see how she likes it with the type 9 dry pipe.
I set the poles up to be the shortest and with the new blowsion steering set up the set is quite a bit shorter than stock I think.

Replaced the start/stop switch…
Then the starter solenoid went.
Odessey extreme battery took a poop.
I love love the 2 stroke jet ski life….. if you ain’t buying poop for them then you ain’t riding.. lol

Going with a Noco battery.

jetmaniac for the starter solenoid.

Been ripping friends skis..
820 and 781 superjets and 950 dasa Rickters..

@SMV RYDER - what is your jetting currently and are you on OEM 44 carbs?

I'm about done a 760 build similar to yours and figured I'd be close to whatever you're running since we're both at elevation.
Hey dude!!
Yes OEM 44’s. Gosh the jetting is some where on a napkin at my mechanics garage.. I will do my best to find them.
Is your new motor complete? What pipe? Msd or zeel? Did you port the 760?

We got a running ski!! Starter solenoid was the verdict! Taking her to the lake this weekend to compare it to the 781cc and 820cc SJ’s.. stoked to try the new steering set up, shorter pole and the higher rev limiter. Lesssss gooooo!!!

Definitely stoked.. The shorter pole and new steering set up took a minute to get used to.. it’s going to work!
We went out super early, it was 58 Degrees when we arrived at the lake 10am and a little chop. Not that I was wanting a super fast ski but I was able to snag a couple 49mph gps rips at 8k feet above sea which imo is pretty impressive with a 9/15 solas prop but I am noob so who knows if that’s fast.
Over all damn excited on how she turned out… She sounds angry too! A buddy said she’s loud but sounds awesome!

The Noco battery is quite impressive. Not sure what an odyssey extreme weighs that it’s replacing but this thing is light.. 2.58lbs

Edit: the odyssey extreme weighs 13.2 lbs

Probably the last ride of the year but who knows.
Already have some neat ideas for the ski over the winter.
