Interesting use of the cable seal grommet.

If you want a simple fat bar turnplate the Cold-Fusion system fits this pole perfectly.

Thank you for the response..
You mentioned interesting use of the cable seal grommet. Educate me if you don’t mind.. what should be happening or not happening?
Are you running a quick turn steering set up? If so which one? Or is this a OVS steering set up? Seeing the bar pad I am guessing ovs?

I am all about fatbars on my dirtbike I race, I even go crazy and run a fatbar 36. So same effect on a ski?

Put the skis in storage, my ski temporarily because of some winter plans….
That’s the wife’s 21/18 CRF 195 dirt scooter in front.. she is a pretty neat machine

Fall is setting in and my mind is racing for winter changes to the ski.. I really can’t leave things along to be honest. I am wanting to change the domes to 32cc from the 36cc I have now. Being at 8000 feet about sea level I can get away with a lot compression with out race gas. Am I pressing the limit of pump gas with those domes? Also we have a couple lakes at 5000 feet above sea level I want to ride next year, will I be safe or need some race fuel?
Thank you

Several factors play into what octane fuel you’ll be needing.
Since you’re at a higher elevation your compression numbers will be lower than someone running the same domes at a lower elevation.
Youll need to do some research in similar setups and get a idea of where your compression will be by comparing numbers or by simply changing your domes and gauging it.
Ignition timing and porting will also play a big role in determining what octane you’ll need.

This is where the grommet is supposed to go btw, other end of cable where it goes through ski.

I was hoping it would be a simple upgrade but apparently not… All good! I barley got the jetting figured out so I don’t need to mess with more stuff. She is ripping now and will perfect jetting before I mess with the domes.. thank you

Thank you for the correct information on where the grommet goes.

For turf… do I go the Blowsion route with the pre cut ?

Or just a couple sheets?

If you find a kit that’s specific to your setup it will be much easier but if you’re patient and want to learn you can get a very nice outcome with a sheet of turf.
You can order direct from hydroturf and get better pricing (and customer service) i believe

Personally I’d rather burn my money than give it to Blowsion but you do you brotha

Any other websites for turf???

Nice. I see they sent the cable bracket you’ll need!
That was with some help.. Ken Wong jet ski photographer is where I got the idea from and a very nice gal from Blowsion (Kayti) made sure I had the cable bracket. I am going to use a Riva HD pole spring, Blowsion billet pole bolt and can’t decide between ODI orange or purple grips. I am going to run the Riva 7/8 bars with a cold fusion quick steer for now and then upgrade to the over the pole set up with fat bars later.

i prefer to order thru Hydroturf.com and Jetmaniac.
You can also get sheets from eBay, Amazon, etc.
I went with showtime freestyle out of Connecticut, definitely an awesome dude/customer service and was the only place I could find a diamond turf kit and rail kit in black.. Maybe others could find it else where but I am going with him, probably a week til they get here. He is actually cheaper than Hydro-turf fyi..

Honestly Macsboost out did him self with his carbon fiber poles.. These poles are beautiful, the weave is amazing, and definitely thicker carbon fiber than I thought. Pretty stoked to throw some Racetech titanium bolts on her to make it even more amazing.

The goods showed up and now the hard work. First time removing turf and installing turf, I feel the rail kit is going to be the most difficult but we will see. I also went another direction, black mat and rail kit instead of purple.
Also shout out to showtime freestyle, great guy to work with and basically same customer service as Jetmaniac.
