First time out EVER on a AM hull

Indoor soccer cleats have been the best shoe so far for me. Better toe protection and stays locked in. Turf wears faster but easy to put a new layer just inside the hold where you kick in. I tried the converse shoes you are looking at and did not like em. ymmv

I wonder if anyone has ever tied reinforcing their desired shoe with some sort of shape-able glue. For example, "Sugru" at the toe area might help?
EDIT: how about spraying the toe area with that truck bed liner stuff? I've seen videos of some "indestructible" spray coating.

I think it helps. I am thinking about how I am going to narrow it up a little more. We will see...

I just finished swapping my cooling and ignition by changing to reverse cooling and Zeeltronics. Also changed the waterbox to a JM Waterbox (which is sweet btw), new Bpipe coupler, long hose, and a coupler that connects a piece of pipe to the pipe that goes through the hull. Through the course of things I found that the 760 electronics I bought had a bad do-hickey (Voltage regulator maybe). I swapped it from my old ebox and ended up changing a few original plans around. Here is what went bad...

Ill let you know how it goes.

Test ride went awesome. The zeel definitely makes a difference. The throttle response is night and day better. The ski sounds angry with how quick it wraps up and with the JM Waterbox. I only got to ride about a gallon and a half so not too much to report on....

Apparently I left a new Tie-rap in the hull... I have to figure out how to get this guy out... any suggestions? On the bright side, my bilge works nicely. Lol

That suuuucks. Only thing i can think of is stick the nose in the sand on the beach and have a buddy help you lift the back end up, hopefully it will just slide back into engine bay.

What about cutting the ends off 2 long zip ties, tape each together at the ends and too the one in ski so it 3 times as long. Push it back into hull far enough to pick it up ??

I've had the exact issue on my rip a couple times. couple options..
If the zip tie is small enough you can punch out the roll pin and slip the zip tie through the hole and then replace the pin/ball. Otherwise.. Push it through the rear with a long screwdriver and pick it up with a long needle nose plyers if you can't fit it through. At least with a laydown pipe it's possible to get your whole body in there to reach your hands back

Currently I placed cut up foam all back there and have a stuck zip tie too... I have to pull it all out to get the zip tie out. In the meantime I put a piece of foam between the versiplug to hold it shut most of the season

Or if all else fails nail it with some compressed air. Will make it either easier or harder to find lol

Electricians run long lengths of line through tight tubes with compressed air. It works great. I use welding wire to pull cables through tubes or up poles also.
