Pole and steering are mounted up and good, had to re-do my coupler mod to make it fit better but the nozzle is on and both trim and steering cables are routed, need a jam nut for the trim cable and steering, probably could have had the motor in and almost if not ready to fire but I'm really trying to pay attention to detail on this one, no corners cut

So as usual with my build threads I get to a point where suddenly things just time warp and I jump from no motor in to finished, and this is one of those threads. Been hard to find time to work on it and havnt even turned my pc on in over a week but she's finally ready to rip, and with a special added feature.
Test ride tomorrow

so I managed to get a solid 4 hours of ride time in this weekend, dosnt seem like much but you get worn out fast when every time you need gas you have to make a 5min trip down a no-wake canal back to the dock.

initially ran pretty well, lots more low end punch than before with the new total loss and bigger pump, seemed like as I rode the motor was almost loading up which surprised me because I havnt touched any carb settings since last season which it ran perfectly, took the plugs out when I got home and they were solid black, changed those and it immediately felt better then went back to feeling loaded up on fuel/oil, I did flop a few flips but never actually ended up ingesting any water, got the ski home and was going through it and realized my powervalves weren't snapping back as they should, pulled them out and found this gunk...

consistancy of mud and filled the entire valve cavity... what is it and why?
