So far so good, I just finished going through the break in process with two tanks. Tomorrow I'm taking it out in the surf. Also, of course it's a night and day difference, I was running an SBT 61x before this lol

that would be quite the HP gain! im digging the build. you might inspire me to start cutting into my superjet. what footholds did you use?

Water dawg kustomz REV footholds. It took some work but they are perfect.
If I did anything different, I probably wouldn't take a full 4" off the back, maybe 2"

It wasn’t terrible- but I also liked to carve buoys and I wanted best of both worlds. Depends what you are using it for. Surf or flatwater then go 4”. Also take into if you’re a bigger or smaller guy.
If I could go back- I wouldn’t have thrown away the 4” sections I cut off, I would have made some removable “extensions” to bolt on when I wanted.
Split the difference and cut 3”
