Flatdecks are fun but kinda hard to get going on. I enjoyed mine a lot.

However, 7 inch grinder wheel shrapnel is not fun. I've been pretty lucky so far even with the guard but those things are dangerous enough as it is...Use the guard. I've seen more carnage from those things blowing up than I ever wanted to.

First of all why do you care about the grinding wheel. Your not my mommy. And second the sites called x-h20 not x-grinding wheel. Who cares. You guys should go send your useless comments to pwctoday. You guys should go look real hard at the pictures again. Try find something that starts with a c and ends with an e. Yeah it's a clue you need to get one. And it's not a 7 inch wheel it's an 8.

There has been several of pics on the site with grinders coming apart and F'ing people up. So don't be a dick about it and just say ok. Ok?

FWIW, I use the same type of 'overlapping flapper' sanding wheel on my sidearm grinder w/o a guard. They are MUCH less likly to come apart than the stone ones. http://compare.ebay.com/like/250847565613?var=lv&ltyp=AllFixedPriceItemTypes&var=sbar

Ski looks good
Also post it up on X-grindingwheels.com :)

I use the overlapping flap wheel also and even they will come apart but not nearly as bad, most here mean no harm, they just don't want to see a new post in the carnage section.

You're obviously too good to accept any kind of constructive criticism so carry on... No one here really wants to say "I told you so" so we're trying to give you fair warning. I couldn't even tell you how many wheels I've blown up cutting fiberglass over the last 3 years of jetski projects. Even have a sweet scar on my wrist from a cotton polishing wheel because I wasn't wearing a glove.

God damn, i remember the first time i used a grinding wheel. I am well aware of the risks while using grinding wheels. I didn't realize there was a grinding wheel police on this site. I apologize sincerely about the grinder and I'll be sure not to post any other pictures of grinding wheels or anyone using them or anything dangerous that little boys shouldn't be playing without the proper PPE or a mommy near by with a box of bandages. You guys are over the top haha.

Anyway back to jet skis. I just got my pole in and it's covered in white paint. I don't know why but it was. Started stripping it with some heady duty stripper. I polished a small portion of the pole to see what it's gonna look like. Pulling the water box out tonight and polishing the mariner manifold. Pics to be posted tonight.

Haha man I didn't realize there were so many little butt hurt little girls on here. I was just trying to show my build but damn. I must have put something in the title to attract all these retarded posts about grinders instead of jet skis

I see you are using paint stripper, be careful with that stuff , it will put your eye out. I will give you a word of advice here, you probably won't take it but here it goes anyway. Stop taking everything so personally or these guys are going to ride you like a two dollah ho on a Saturday night.

I like the build a lot. Do you have any pictures of the straps being installed? I think it will look good with the pole polished. Are you going to use white turf? Looks good!

BTW, I see there is a bike in the back ground with no helmet near it. Might want to make sure you put a helmet on if you are going for a ride. J/K

Wow what kind of newbie starts his first thread and then is a douch to all the regulars..... you might wanna look at how long these ppl have been on this site not to mention riding. I think they might know a few things and probably learned them the hard way. Most of the ppl on don't mean any harm just don't want to see anyone get hurt. You say you just wanted to show your build but if you act like that right off the bat no one is gonna care what your building or really wanna help you later down the road. Have a little respect.

Haha see 2screwed knows what's going on. All you hard dick vets to this site need to take a break and relax.

Yeah next time I go to my shop I'll be sure to take some more pics of the straps. I'm doing grey turf. I think it's gonna look pretty good with with the grey and green. I figured white would get to dirty. I have a huge polishing wheel that will buff it to a mirrior finish.
