some more pics. west coast box and the mariner manifold. the studs are a little long. i need to make some spacers. napa radiator hose as an exhaust hose for 20 bucks instead of the 80 dollar a tube from kawasaki.

Nothing wrong with using the radiator hose but pull those damn studs out and get the correct ones, hell if you will pay shipping I will send you a couple for free, I hate to see anything halfassed together.

I would change the studs but I'm worried about stripping them or breaking them in the block. I don't want to deal with that . I'll try it. I have some other studs off another ski.

Better impeller, what do I get. I only paid 50 bucks for it brand new. I'm just looking for a low end prop. All it says on it is 16. I don't even know what that means haha

I have the rest of the 1996 zxi750 if anyones interested. Super clean ski. The owner wasn't very happy when I told him I was just gonna take the motor out. It's got the nice pump and the trim motor easy 800 bucks right there.

waiting on blowsion to deliver my sheet. anyone know anything about that fogzskin stuff. i was thinking about blocking off my vents on my build and make an extra vent in the motor access hood plug. get a little more air to the motor and limit the water in my ski.

motor, exhaust, and gast tank installed. still trying to get the paint off the pole and working on installing the tubing.

off to hydro and then work out the ele prob. only runs for a sec and then kills itself. the zxi has that magnet switch on it and i think thats the prob.

frog skin

new green grips and i got my frog skin in. im blocking off my gas fill hole with a circle and then im cutting a hole in my service hole cover and placing one there as well.i dont ever use the gas fill becasue you cant see when your tank in full untill gas starts spilling everywhere so i figured i would get rid of it. and then the four vents on the hood will be covered up as well with the 3x7 rectangle pieces.

hydro turf is done and every thing is together. just need to adjust the throttle and im ready to hit the water. frog skin over the maintenance cover after i cut a 4 inch hole in it. frog ski over the front hood vents and frog ski over the gas filler hole after i took off the gas filler and neck and caped the gas tank with a bearing buddy.

It's easy man. Hardest thing is the hydro and if you have a heat gun the hydro is easy too. The reason mine took so long was because I kept buying stuff. It was just gonna be a 650sx flat deck. Now it's got a 750 big pin with a full exhaust alum pole and every other mod. Let me know when you do it maybe I can come over and and show you some stuff. I'll bring my grinder too. Hahaha

I guess I should start buying the stuff to do it then I have a feeling mine will go along the same lines. Just plan on making a flatdeck but by the time it is done it will have a new motor and a bunch of other goodies.
