That's awesome! It monsoons out here really heavily at the end of the summer and if it is as bad this year as it was last year I am dropping my ski into a wash and tearing it up!

I have some video of a buddy and I riding through a flooded park and the cops showing up and said we couldn't ride there anymore, I will have to edit the video sometime and post it up.

Ha....That cop is actually a good friend of mine. He used to have a SN and actually came to Daytona with me one year. I saw somebody post this on FB so I texted him. It sounded like he actually knew a couple of the guys on skis as well. Needless to say no tickets.....Just had to try to keep the dude with the sweet overalls happy.

I thought about doing the same thing, but decided not to. In my younger years I would have been there doing the same thing. I guarantee that there were plenty of people pissed off at thme(justified or not). I just do my best not to draw negative attention to the sport I love. Part of me really wants to get out there though....

People were having fun (looked to be harmless in this case).


I am not a fan of ripping up and down flooded residential streets, pushing water into people's houses. The damage may already be done, but what homeowner wants to see some tool on jetski doing that s#!t when their house is wrecked?

I live like 20 minutes from here, this is the worst flooding ive seen around here. I've been itching to get my ski out but its still too cold=(

I would like to ride that far into Grand Rapids sometime on the river. Not generally a fan of riding on the Grand River because I feel like i have to watch out for dirty diapers and other foreign objects. Looked like a lot of fun though.
