I find work to be a lot less stressful and time consuming than school. School was 80+ hours a week, all day class, work nights, study any time left over, sleep didnt happen much. Being an adult is pretty easy compared to being a student of almost any age.

At least you get paid to do that! Students get rocked! Charges for everything. I'm surprised we don't get charged for a pass to walk in the hallways.

Work load wise.....school is harder. You usually don't have homework or the need to study for a test in your career.

But real life after college is much harder. Bills need to be paid, and in college you don't have to worry about stuff getting repo'd or you getting evicted. (These are just examples)

I think it varies greatly. I know plenty of people who did their 4 years and never worked a single job during that time. 100% paid by their parents. I also know people who struggled through a 40 hour a week job, 12 -15 credit hour semesters, a kid, and bills. On the other side, plenty have cushy 9-5s with little stress. Others have tremendous stress for one reason or another, and frequently are working 6 days +. Hard to say it gets easier after college. I think it's very dependent on the choices each person makes.

I took 2-3 semesters of college. Huge waste of time. Unless you are going into specialty work and need hands on training there is nothing they are going to teach you that you cannot learn on your own.
Completely disagree especially for engineering. There's a lot I need to learn to be able to do what I want, and I couldn't teach myself everything. I could do a lot already with CAD and basic physics, but I definitely see the point of going to college for all the stuff I need to know.

Pretty much exactly what I was trying to say.

+1. Definitely agree with it being a waste of time for half the majors offered, though.

Installing inserts and motor and other little things Saturday, and the rest is just buttoning everything up, routing cooling lines, etc. I have two tests next week and after that I've got some free time. I'd say theres a possiblity I'll be riding either next weekend or the weekend after!
