Starting to plan my winter work for this beast. New parts will be a 155 mag pump from Jetmaniac, PHP lightweight crank, and Novi 48's. I have had my ski apart since August and due to lack of funds it had to chill in the shop:( Now the itch is there to start the rebuild process..... Next season is gonna be awesome!!!

Here's a quick pic I snapped of the engine bay yesterday. I layed a layer of carbon over the motor plates just for extra security. I told DK Sr. what I wanted to do and he shipped me all the material and now they are doing it too on all of the Carbon Hurricanes last time we spoke. Now I'm just waiting on funds to get my pump and then motor back together and some new Novis....

Here's a pic right after I laid it. I have never done carbon before and the material DK sent me was a breeze to lay and is strong as hell!

So did you prefer the stock 155 over the 148 mag? I am waiting on arrival of a new chan (Steve is awesome to deal with.. Top notch guy for sure) and I'm wondering if I should have him do a 155 tunnel for me as I know of a local deal for one and am curious as to if I should or shouldn't ... If I did get it I would be running a 760 limited and I only weigh 155lbs so I'm very curious on your opinion... And btw I may as well state the obvious, SICKKKK SKI man and awesome flips too!!!

Thanks for the compliments!

I would only have Steve set it up for a 155 if you plan on getting a mag pump. We tried everything at PHP to make the stock 155 work and it was ok but after I put the 148 mag in it was like I added another cylinder to the motor! In my opinion I would say really think about what you are going to do before you make the decision to have Steve do it. If it were me I would save up for a 155 mag and then do a bigger motor. But if you're not planning on doing a big motor in the future then think about a smaller 148 or even 144 mag that will be cheaper. When you decide what your engine package will be then hit up Chris(Jetmaniac) and he can tell ya what pump setup is best.

Need to get a new project to work on all next year to make a comeback in 2015!
