How many freaks u seen for sale...other than those that r buying a new one. Josh doesnt count cuz he'd buy another for sure.
I was making a general point about feedback on hulls. The only real and reliable feedback (IMHO) is used hull sales.

Not always a true sign, I have built or bought and sold 7 ROKs and I wished I coulda kept everyone of them.
BOB Demos were at the Crazy Horse Lighthouse almost every evening. We were camped there, and rode every night. We didn't have a set schedule for demos as we were focusing on getting ready for competition, which is also why we didn't have a booth this year. Pretty sure next year will be different though.wish I had of tried the bob gen 2 while in Havasu, I meant to find out where they were doing demos but missed out while in Havasu
Seems to me like Mr. Money bags has got his panties in a wad.... Cut and dry DK , Lucas , Alex all had the same conditions to ride in. They may have not been the best conditions but he took the cards he was dealt and won a national title. Quit being a bunch of cry babies and give the kid some credit. Not to mention if the bob is so inferior in performance, fit, and finish why did lucas and alex not walk away with the title even in $hitty conditions ????
Uh, When did DK when a National Title? I could have sworn this was a World Title.
Last time I checked it is not the Hull that wins, it is the Rider.........
With that said I will say this. The conditions as many of you say sucked, they were not fair. Do some research on conditions at previous World Finals. There have been many years where it was rough. I watched most of the routines. Alex's was not the smoothest. I did not see Luca's run, I saw DK's. DK went out there and put down the cleanest of all the runs. He executed it tricks. Yes, they were several variations of the same trick. Honesty, if I was a judge it would have counted against him. But I was not. I will judge him top based on the simple fact he went out and ran a very clean routine and put on a good show. He had the same crap or perfect conditions that every other rider had to contend with. He used the chop to his advantage instead of riding around looking for a flat spot or a wave to hit. He probably would have won had he been on a Superfreak or Ricktor.......
As far as the hulls go. Each has their plus's and minus's.
Some of you need to take a chill pill and calm down.
Hey Brian, Today is the first time I looked at this thread!!!!!!!!!! LOL
To technical. They use punch cards. Each rider is given a punch card. The punch out the tricks they want the ski to do then insert them into a rear intake (which is fake, it is there to have a spot to install the punch card reader) If they do not make a clean punch then the ski may bobble. That clean punch is the trick to a great routine.I was wondering if the skis were remote control, bluetooth or voice commanded

There was that one year where a competitor messed with the punch cards and every rider went out and they all ran the same exact routine and made the same mistake at the same time. The clear winner was the one rider whose ski did a different routine. He later had to give up his trophy though. It made national news, was all over the papers.......... The public outrage was phenomenal. They now make each competitor sign and return their punch cards after each run.
