The drive is original so the bulkhead is the same distance from the engine,
It looks to be farther back due to the SXR topdeck being a different design.
I think I will keep the Elec box in the same location. I an working on the two fuel cells that will be mounted through the bulkhead either side of the drive shaft. the are both about 3 ltrs so 6 in total, The cells will be on the Cof G of the ski so the varying weight will not affect the handling.
I decided to leave the pump to engine distance the same so the drive is all SJ, and move the fuel back to have the same affect . If it does not work so well I can remove the cells blank off the holes ( with carbon plates of course) and install my light weigh tank up front!
I plan to mount the battery in the centre in front of the engine.
P.S. Haggis the weather really helps a lot , I repaired and sprayed cars in various unheated workshops for 25 yrs in the uk . It is much easier to get motivated when its so nice and warm!
Maybe you should bring your ski here and we could finish them together. lol
