Freestyle project hull

As Jim said I have been busy with friends over from SA doing track days at our local circuit, But I am back on it now!

I have given it a nose job , At first I was thinking it had not helped the looks of the ski but now it is growing on me.

I have added an air craft style fixed bulkhead directly in front of the water box and added some strength to the pole area and around the front of the engine bay aperture.

I think my point of adding a pole spring may have been misunderstood ,
my point was to add a spring that would just take the weight of the pole with a loose bolt , Then tighten the bolt as normal for freestyle.
This way the force required to move the pole up and down are the same. Not to run with only a spring and loose bolt!
I have added a gas ram from a car tailgate this works great , It also has a small degree of 'damping' that slows the pole from sudden movements.

Thank you for your interest in the hull, This hull is a prototype hull for flat water freestyle. The hull is still in the testing stages at the moment.
I will be offering hulls for sale when I have finished the R&D and finalised the construction and layup weight that is strong enough without being too heavy.
I have been very pleased with the strength of this 21.5 KG version inc hood , bulkheads ,foam and pipes.
I have added a bulkhead and some strength in the pole bracket area as it was flexing slightly due to the tight pole bolt, also strengthened inside the nose as I removed the bond line there.
I don't want to sell hulls and then find out modifications are required!

What do you class as a kit builders hull? I can supply the hull bonded with bulkheads ,foam engine mounts, Pipes etc ready to accept superjet mechanicals. Or I can supply the top deck, bottom ,hood not joined for the customer to fit the engine mounts, bulkheads, pipes etc . The hood will come complete in both cases as it has to be bonded together in a jig.

The complete flat water hull will be 3500 USD and the Kit would be 2600 USD Plus shipping.

Ordering without fuel cells will be a saving of 200 USD

The kit will come with a detailed instruction CD showing the build, alignment and materials used . The kit will be an easy build up with basic tools.

Any idea on shipping to the states?

I have found out that EMS charge about 300 usd (5 day delivery) for a box up to 20kgs of the size needed , This would be good if the hull is not joined and can be packed in two boxes totalling 600 usd , They also said that there is sometimes a small additional charge in the US.

I will find out some prices from other carriers.
