Where do you guys buy the T's at are less that $90:cool2:

I'm looking for a cheap T until i can get a xmw box. Looking for a copper/brass/allum i'd rather not use pvc but i can not find them eather.

also its suposted to be 2.5" from the box and 2.5" out the back and 2" out the front. do you guys that run the pvc T's do you just but a 2" and clamp the hose on tight? I'v just had the xmw outlet laying around for a month or 2 now and would like to install.. only link i'm missing is the T and i'v looked everywhere :rolleyes:

so in short, what are you using and how did you set it up if you dident buy a overpriced piece of aluminum? :biggthumpup:

I've been using a PVC 'T' since November w/NO problems. Oh yeah, and I HAVE had a nuclear meltdown at Alatoona and the 'T' did NOT melt. 5.00 at Lowe's.

Keep in mind, I do keep a spare in the trailer in case the 1st one does fail.

I found a T at lowes that had a 2"od on one end, 2 1/2" od on the opposite end and a 2 1/2 od on the bottom. The measurements on the Lowes T were not exactly perfect, but real dam close. (enuf to compensate w/hose clamps).

If u go looking at the sizes on the tags, it will be wrong, the tags are talkin bout id of the T. Just use one of their tape measures to measure the od's.

I'm using a kawi X2 outlet which is like 1.75 hose for the front. I'm running a brass T made by my boy , chick. Theres more to pumbers then leak toilets! woot

I had 2nd exhaust but recently removed the rear and used that tube to make the larger 2.5" outlet for the front only exhaust, it was really cheap but required some welding skils and cutting in the ski a bit, wasn't trying to save money, it was more of a weight thing.

I didn't "make" the Tee, Jesse---I just soldered some pipe into it for you to make the install a little easier. :biggthumpup:

Grif---a 2" X 1 1/2" X 2" Copper Tee is what you need.

....I know you didnt actually create the brass, chickie. However you did solder up the random size pipes i needed and came through very well. Therefor you "made" it for me:biggthumpup:

go to any muffler man and get one welded up and powder coat it if you ride salt...max$30
OR
send me $30 and ill make you one and powder coat it any color you want :)

thanks for the offer i might take you up on that. However i started this thread to try and find a retail version "everyone" could buy... but it doesent look like this will be the case
