Other front foothold question.

Im In the process of refoaming and installing footholds on my octane,i decided on going with a front foothold also, so i made one up quick today, my question is for the guys who have them,how tight a fit to your foot do u prefer them to be? loose enough to slide your foot left or right when under it,or kinda stab and wedge your toes under? thanks

I highly recommend you cut a square in the center top of your hold, then when you turf it, cut a slit across that whole. That's the best place to put a tow strap!

I think speedysprocket is talking about something like what I did for a tow rope storage.
I like mine snug, but wish I had put a little pad on it.

Thanks for the input, think im going to mount it so its a little snug, and then add thin padding under it as needed if i prefer it tighter, good idea on the tow rope storage, i may have to mod it a bit for that.
