Freestyle Front of ski electronics

I'm looking for ideas to mount my electronics at the front on my ski, my current idea is to take some aluminum angle iron and bolt it to the two case bolts on top of the flywheel cover, and bolt the electronics to that, installing turf in between the box/plate to help with vibration

pictures?

I'm running a PowerFactor with box so that's not an option, the motor is so tight if something goes wrong and I have to trouble shoot I want everything to be accessible

All the ebox components can be placed in a small box. It needs to be mounted to the hull, engine shakes too much.

Even if I installed some kind of dampening? How much smaller can a box get vs. stock box... Any ideas if I were to mount in or around cart tank? There has to be a way to do this

you might want to re- think the original location mine is on the firewall and i am running a b-pipe,all i need to do to get the e-box out is un bolt the headpipe un-boot it and slide it forward and mine comes out .with a powerfactor you probably wouldn't have to even do that it looks really tight but its not as bad as it seems after its been done once or twice .i don't know if your cylinder maybe fits in there different and theres less room?i know i am not having the issue with the plug caps like you.so yours might be sitting a little different leaving you less room to work with?what ignition are you using ?

I'm going to run stock until next season then swapping to TL next year, the only problem I ever have on any ski is electronics so I want to make it easy to work on, I might have to do a little fabing

a little plexus for some mounts and it can go anywhere theres room, the only reason i was asking is do you really need to get in there very often ? i am running the advent in mine .but i opted not to even go with the remote switch simply because i really don't toggle back and forth between curves ,that would probably the main reason i would need to get in there.one thing though when i did go to a digital ignition i had some gremlins to work out ,and ended up cleaning up my entire e-box and all my electrical connections in the gremlin elimination process.i think the main reason i did this was the fact that it was kind of a pain to take my box out.if you plan on mounting to the flywheel cover , is your tank going to fit?

Planning on mounting on top of the flywheel cover not in front, on the billet cases the stock e-box and billet flywheel cover come out just as far, so it won't affect battery or tank placement

interesting that sounds like a cool idea , let me know how it goes (with pics).you just going to fab up some mount tabs ? also there is a couple of builders coming out with aluminum boxes with lexon covers looking pretty bomb but too pricey

Do it munkie. I'd fab the bracket out of aluminum/stainless and run some plush pad for vibration. What about making a bracket that bolts to the kart tank in that spot where the knob screws into the front ofthe tank? Where's your battery going?

uh so I kinda put my foot in my mouth, my tank didnt fit where i though it would so I cant bolt it onto the motor....But I'm still going to try and get the e-box in the front of the ski somehow
