aight... been a few weeks with the new power factor pipe. Finally got the jetting squared away, and wow what a difference. I'm still lacking some of the bottom end hit I had with my old motor, but this motor/pipe combo rips for sure, and in the surf... insane.
anyway, I am having to relearn barrell rolls now though... after installing this pipe, and relocating the battery up to the bulkhead and going with a 3 gal tank, there is absolutely no nose weight and I get a lot more pop out of the nose. So I find myself going super nose high with rolls. I think may need to pick less peaky waves for rolling, or really get my weight forward more.

typically, for me, the ski cracks starting at the hoodseal mid way between the blkhead and pole mount. and also near the bulkhead.

true that... my orange ski - I ended up reinforcing from both the inside and outside... the cracked side ended up being around 1/4" thick... ugly as hell, but strong enough for one last season before I got rid of it.
