Ok so I'm a little stumped on the issue I'm having with my setup recently. Up until last weekend my ski has ran perfect with no issues. Last Sunday I pulled the ski out of the garage and went to fire it up before we headed out to make sure everything was good to go. Ski always starts within 1-2 seconds of cranking with no choke or prime. This time it just cranked and cranked wouldn't spit or sputter just nothing. Finally I dumped some fuel down the carb throats and it started right up and free revved just fine. Rode all day no issues with 15-20 min breaks in between riding. But after the ski Sat for 2 hours it struggled to start again , but did start. It blubbered for a few seconds and then cleared out and ran awesome again. Took the ski home and pulled it out the following day and it wouldn't start again. I can see in my fuel lines that it doesn't appear they are pumping fuel during cranking. But if you start it with fuel down the throats I can see fuel moving fine through the lines. I just don't get why it's only doing this at start up. Bad fuel pump? Clogged filters? Etc? Just thought I would check here to see if it's something simple before I open the carbs up.
