Damn what's going on in this thread , use whatever you like but I am going to put this line through the ringer and see how it hold up.

I will be doing a submersion test on a section of this hose and see what happens to it over a period of time submerged in gasoline.

I've seen a 5-8 year lifespan with the 1/4" Motion Pro fuel line that I've used forever.....even with ethanol fuel. I buy the blue color stuff in 50ft rolls, it's on my personal machines as well.

OOPS, sorry, it's Parts Unlimited branded.
I have used the Motion pro stuff before also, It did work well but as you stated it is very pricey., when you are blowing through a 25 ft roll about once or twice a week price does matter , if you are just using it on your own personal ski price doesn't matter as much because you are only doing it once .

I used to buy 250 ft rolls of 1/4 " from Summit racing for about 70 cents a foot, a few times I needed some short sections to finish up a ski I was working ion and parts houses around here are trying to charge $2.00 per running foot for basic no frills fuel line hose, so going thorough 15-20 ft per ski you can see where I might have an issue with that.

If it doesn't say tygon 1200 printed on the line. Down the entire length. With the exact date and time it was made. It's not the tygon line I'm talking about. At all. You would know if you had 1200. Clearly you dont

I feel like this thread is the epitome of jet skis. I've stated TYGON 1200 multiple times. Said there are multiple kinds. Said it's not the Nirmal stuff. A guy even posted a link to the exact stuff to buy from a aircraft site. And people still think they have used the line I was referring to

I never said I run tygon 1200. I'm telling you I run the stuff linked on McMaster which is C-210-A, which has been fine in everything, for years, submerged in snowmobile gas tanks, etc etc.

Yeh. Like I said. This thread is the epitome of jet skis

When was the last time anyone in this thread was upside down on a jet ski? Or rode a jet ski for that matter? Good lord. Ai needs to hurry up with judgement day.

Well personally I ride skis several times a week , my guess is the rest of you ride mountain bikes or roller skates, I won't be getting upside down, I did once on of all things a 550, when it landed the handlepole cracked into two pieces and it busted the nose on the ski, all in all not a fun day at the lake and defiantly not worth a repeat performance.

I fail to see what any of the forgoing nonsense about riding skis and getting upside down has to do with fuel line though if that is your only goal in life I hope you have good insurance and deep pockets.

This is quickly turning into a (what kind of two stroke oil should I use thread) it wasn't meant to be divisive , it was intended to give people options, I am being the Guinea pig here , it costs you guys nothing , if it fails it's all on me and you can l say look I told you to run Tygon 1200 or the sky would fall on your head, actually the only line I can say without a doubt do not use is the fuellinesbiz stuff or tempo marine fuel line, both have proven to have extreme failure rates.

Let us know! My comment was just that, I've had good luck with "real" tygon. Even Farm and Fleet carries it by the foot.

No regrets on blocking Sparkplug lol

It has nothing to do with fuel lines. It's just the broken record rambling from a complete narcissist who has to continually blow his own horn because no one else will blow it for him.

Such a double edged sword. Dude gives legitimately good advice sometimes, I didn't know about that fuel line and I have no doubt that it is the best stuff and if I had a ski that I wanted to not touch for years, I would use it and nothing less, straight from a trustworthy aviation specific source. If I was assembling a 20k freestyle ski with all of the best parts, no question.

But...I screw around with my skis a lot so I use cheaper stuff, the cheaper tygon works great for what I do. Somebody flipping a couch isn't going to buy 20 feet of the world's best fuel line for $90.

I'm not sure why things have to get so emotional.

How is the tygon 1200 for coming off barbed fitting? I’m using factory Yamaha line now and it ain’t bad on the carb side but getting it to slide off aftermarket tank barb fittings is some work.

False advertising it's fast flow and no flow because your carb filterS are stopped up with fuel line debris.

Those lines were originally developed for racing go carts which have very little fuel line footage as compared to a PWC.

Question about the Tygon LP1200 fuel hose so highly recommended here. Looking at the manufacture site, it states the LP1200 is ideal for lawn/garden equipment and nothing about about marine applications. My limited understanding about marine grade fuel hose is that it has to meet certain flame resistance standards. I'm assuming the LP1200 does not meet this. Any concerns about this? Makes me recall a couple years ago, at a local lake, a PWC blew up with the guy on it and killed him. Don't know what led to the explosion, but certainly was fuel related. I'm about to change out the fuel line on my WaveBlaster. Thoughts???
