Raise Compression, Bore nozzle will help.
would like to build the motor and put a pipe and tubbies on it eventually..Raise Compression, Bore nozzle will help.
I used Black RTV silicone for mine and taped everything off on the pump shoe AND the hull first. Then used a copious amount of silicone on the pump shoe and hull area, stuck it down and a smoothed out the silicone, then removed the tape carefully while the silicone was still wet. It came out really clean and I’m sure it’s sealed tight!Debating what to use to install pump shoe. Usually use that bostik 920fs that blowsion used to sell for tubbie installation. Similar to 5200 but not as permanent. Want to Be able to remove it fairly easily if I do the pump swap..silicone? Any other suggestions?
Explain?Right or wrong black RTV is also what Seadoo used on all their pump shoes.
Will definitely be easier to remove than marine grade flange sealant..especially with an aluminum shoe.Right or wrong black RTV is also what Seadoo used on all their pump shoes.
Explain?
Ok, here goes, I am going to ask a couple of stupid questions.
First, thanks for putting that video in your signature.
Second, is that a modified Square Nose SJ that you are riding in the surf?
Third, for that type of wave riding/slashing, what is your preferred hull/ski?
96 was the first year of the round nose and first year of dual carbs..The bottom was the same as the square nose but they ride different with the pole bracket location and you can’t get good aftermarket hoods for squares anymore. Round noses were the same from 96-07 and then they changed the bottom and made it have too much grip for waveriding IMO. I started with a square though and they ride good also. I ran an LPW motor with a single carb before in a round nose and it ran really good. Can get duals or singles to run well. I still think for all around riding a superjet is hard to beat..can ride waves, carve bouys and even do some freestyle. I used to be able to flat water roll my square with just a pipe and milled head..So, you like the Square Nose bottom and the Round Nose top better than just a full on 1995 Square Nose?
Or is it because of the dual carb 701 post 1995?
Haha yea they are pretty cool..I’ve had that one a long time. I hadn’t used it in awhile but I started using it for workouts..makes squats and overhead presses more interesting..that is if I could get this fx done..haven’t touched a weight in over a month..any free time is spent on that thingINDO board for the win
One of my favorite things ever. We have had one since I was like 10 and I still use it... There is a clip in Fish's Adventure of Chris Fischetti on an indo board, watching jet ski races on his TV and holding handlebars while "pretending" to be in the race haha
