Blasterboy1980 and I were both watching him and we both thought the SAME thing: that he was dangerous. I remember the first thing I said was "he's way too fast to be around the other skis, because you can't navigate him while trying to wave jump because you can't assume where he'd be from one second to the next.
I thought he was support staff, so I didn't want to look like and idiot telling him to get lost, then find out it's one of the organizers or vendors.
Yeah, he was dangerous. After a while, he went to the south end of the riding area (where I rode alot), and more than once I'd try to chase toward the beach to cut back and grab a wave, and that monster would be right on the other side staring me in the face at WOT.
Trust me, it was pretty unnerving.
Is it safe to say that if that happens next year, that ANYONE related to the freeride has the authority to address him?

Drew is on the white Ultra, and was filming like said before..
But hands down to him. for filming and moving around in surf and getting in good locations and watching for all the riders..
Very good "couch" rider in my book.
As for the red guy... cut me off a couple times..

Never had any issues with the white ultra filming (drew is it) stayed in good spots and kept eyes out for the other riders, but I was nearly hit had to avoid the red one several times down on the south end. For a bit I thought he was Beach patrol. He was definately riding dangerously, hauling ass up and down the beach right inside the break with no real regaurd for other riders.

props to me for carrying drews ultra around all week and looking like i was going to ride a sit down out there....my poor sit down was at home crying cuz she couldnt go out
but i must give credit for drew holding onto that camera out there in the surf and giving me a great workout loading that thing on the trailer

Ya I pulled 2 sunkin skis in, 7 ft surf + sunken ski+ 12 ft of rope= NOT cool. Thats some tuff surf to navigate while towing

I made SURE the two guys I saw sinking got towed in.
But I did see alot of guys not even pay attention to them.
However, IMO, the guys with problems didn't wave or signal near enough for everyone to see them.
I've been in that situation before (much worse, actually), and I know you GOTTA wave as much as you can.

I was glad you were out there though i could have killed you acouple times. Sitting on top of a perfect wave.. I wanted to tackle you off the ski LOL... Its all good.
The guy on the red ski is the one I should have landed on....
cool.. i wasnt sure who you were out there. i was doing backies on saturday and saw you next to me for a while. i was on the black ski with the yellow stickered up hood (fl-cracker's ski). throw one of my backy's in there if you caught one so i can stay in the cool crowd a little longer. :fing02:
