General-X Build, 1100 Kawi in a X2

Got to spend some time today on the motor plate. The idea is that I start with a JSH Alum motor plate and add the extra parts too it. This way I can build it again and be able to build it for other people. The sides I just tacked on for now till I am 100% sure its right. The rear part was fully welded but I had to grind the top flat.
As it looks right now I will need to take a inch or 2 out of the stock shaft, but I still need to spend some time fitting everything in the hull before I cut the drive shaft.
This thing looks like somthing out of Star Trek!!

Well its a good thing I tacked everything because i need to change everything now. I put the 1100 in with the stock lenght shaft and its just too far forward. Looks like i am going to need to get the shaft cut and rework the plate.

Update
Ok Motor is in and coupler are lined up. I also picked up an Accusteer and I am going to run it over the Umi, it just has more of a bling to it.<!-- google_ad_section_end -->

Here is a full Mock up with tank. I am going to work on welding and running the Exhaust this week.

Now this is all just Mock Up. I am going to pull it all back apart and paint it.<!-- google_ad_section_end -->

Motor is only 30lbs more than a 750. In the end I think the whole ski will be lighter than a stock 650 ski.

For the first ride I am going to run a stock sxr pump then play around with props on the water to see what works best. That's the reason I want to run the sxr style pump
