i never called it a surf ski. on the note im curious to see how the new BOB surf hull rides
I hope it works cuz one thing that works for low budget flat water flips did not work for surf riding. Did they cut the bulb off the new model?

there did and also extended it 6 inches im curious as to why youve been drinking so much haterade? and what curious what hull do u ride
I rode the ski that Ross Champion did the write up on.He was honest. Here's my review
A ski that does not turn well and can't be laid over on the rail has no place in the surf for surf riding. If the wave is your launch ramp than you have arrived should work great for you. I ride an old beat down 1990 Superjet .

Just a bit of clarification.
Christian did not change things up because his boat was not surf capable. Anyone can look at video from the '11 surf slam and see he had zero challenges riding that ski.
The logistics involved to represent a new-to-market hull on the world tour is daunting to say the least. Shipping and customs alone can be a nightmare, not to mention the cost. After the warehouse expansion and additional staff, the clinic simply was not in a position to physically represent the brand on this scale.

If you are talking about my comments let me be clear I am impressed by anyone who can ride the 1st generation bob flat water freestyle or in the surf for it is the poorest handling ski I have ever ridden. The ski clinic should be applauded for building a ski and then improving on it they are in the game. The Bob gen ! is an outcast in the surf and can't by design do some of the simple slides and float climbs I can do on my old 1990 superjet and anyone is capable of doing these given the time to practice. The engine for that ski in the video your talking about has moved on to another ski. That bob hull is badly broken in the front and split down the bond rail so now it can be a planter box.
