Guys with TBM Flywheels

You would be correct if I had said "Neither".

However, I answered "either" to the question "do you have to tun a 62T stator or can you run a 61X".
So, what's to misunderstand? :dunno:

one flywheel will work for both 61x and 62t stators? i thought the 62t stator was a little bigger.

I am a bit perplexed by this also. I know that the ID of the 62t vs the 61x is different and I have always been told that you need to use the compatible stator so that the magnets are the right distance from the stator coils. How could the TBM work properly for both? If it has the larger ID then it seems that it should only be compatible with only one type of stator. I am interested in this flywheel and have considered buying one because it is so light. I will get some feedback from TBM on this and see what they say unless someone here has already talked with them.
