update.............put stocker reeds in and the carbs kinda worked well,no dead spot in the middle,but they still felt a little strange,a tad of hesitation and less hit than the ski was with the other good carbs,but 75% better at least. Took the carbs off this ski and put them on my other ski to cross check them,it has tight carbon tech reeds on it and the problem with the dead spot in the middle was even worse on this ski? how could they work decent with stock metal reeds and so bad with the other 2 aftermarket reeds setups?
