Hand guns

I picked this up back in the fall after my Glock 19 got swiped. Was in Atl for Supercross and Paul (Jr.) and I went shooting at indoor range. (My first time in a range!) Shot his regular Shield 9mm vs my Performance Center 9mm. You could really tell the difference. It is a good size, not to large nor too small to effectively shot accurate.
Have you shot the 2.0 shield? I wonder how it compares to the 1.0 performance center

I agree with BK, the performance version was smoother with less flip than my std shield. Its worth noting I also have the Apex sear upgrade. The performance version ported slide really made a signifigant improvment.

I purchased a glock 17 last year. A buddy used his blue label for me and I got it for $455 plus tax.
I’ve shot it, dropped it, cerakoted it 5 times and never cleaned it. It is a big gun for edc, but I hate small guns more
I’ll be purchasing a g19 mos Wednesday from the same buddy who actually opened a pawn shop and is now a glock dealer
This one will wind up with a Trijicon RMR (most likely, threaded barrel, I’ll cerakote it, and mod the grip/frame like I’ve done my 17. And I’ll hopefully be getting my stamps for a can.
I honestly thought glock was all a bunch of hype until comparing it to my Springfield and rugers.

Has anyone tried out a canik?
Solid performer that comes in many flavors based on 1 of the greats the CZ75. Good overall balance, recoil impulses lend to quick follow up, solid controls imo. Can't go wrong if you don't want to spend CZ money, which I find to be reasonable. Buy a used one, most people talk about shooting but don't, usually very low round count. Have fun

Waiting for this to come in... A lot of people are weird about deployment pistols and what to do with them. Most put them in a display case, I just can't see myself buying a pistol and not using it. Also have a 1938 woodsman that was passed down from my wife's grandpa. Needs to be cleaned up before I post any pictures lol

^^^ I like that sig! I am in the market for a pocket carry and have the Ruger EC9S on the top of my list....mostly because its priced super well, and I plan to buy a few more ARs in the next few months. Anyone else have any other pocket carry recommendations. I have a Springfield XD9 mod 2 which is a little too bulky for pocket carry, and decent for conceal.

I have a Glock 26 for every day carry. Its double stack, heavier and can control it easier. I also bought a glock 43 for my wife, and she never carrys or uses it. It's basically the single stack version of the 26. It fits in the back pocket of my jeans. 20190321_140739.jpg

Curious about some of ya'lls reasons you choose to be armed, I will share some of mine. Some of this is kinda heavy stuff...

3. Heritage, I grew up around outdoors, did a lot of hunting and fishing.
2. There was a time a crazy person literally tried to run my dad off the road while we were moving to a new house (I was following the moving truck in another vehicle), dude lost control of car and spun out a full 360 in the middle of the road, nearly killing someone. I assume at that point he freaked out, and sped off before we could get his plate #. Had he not lost control, I shudder to think what could have happened had he stopped and gotten out.
1. About 10 years ago, my next door neighbor was murdered. Luckily I had moved out of that house literally about a week prior...

I support the 2nd ammendment wholeheartedly!
