Head vs. Hood.... Call it a Draw

Thanks for all the get wells. So far each day different things have been hurting. The whole top of my head along the cut and my forehead is still completely numb. I should get the stitches on my check and some of the staples removed Friday if all goes well.

Holy crap...you've just reminded me that I need to quit complaining about not having the wind in my hair and wear a helmet.

Wow!! Helmets are a good idea. Besides the impact protection, they keep you cooler in the summer, warmer in the winter, and keep your head from getting sun burnt.

Aloe Vera Aloe Vera I looked the same way last year you have me on the staple count. Sorry bout the damage bro, I guess that is all i can say is sorry.

I've had a helmet for a while and didn't wear it cause "I'm not doing anything to warrant a helmet..." at least thats what I told myself.

I wore it for the first time last Sunday, but only for half the day. I didn't care for it because I couldn't hear as well, but nevermind that. I will wear it from now on... thats gnarly man.

Reminds me of this movie quote (lightly edited)
If his unpleasant wounding has in some way enlightened the rest of you as to the grim finish beneath the glossy veneer of riding without a helmet and inspired you to change your ways, then his injury carries with it an inherent nobility, and a supreme glory. We should all be so fortunate. You say poor motorider200? I say poor us.

Get well brotha...

Glad to see you are healing well. That is by far the worst injury I have seen on the X. I sure hope you had a CAT scan done at the hospital to ensure no bleeding of the brain or any other damage that can't be seen by an x-ray. If not you should definitely get one as it is better to be safe then sorry. Stay safe.
